	Ken Hawthorn, Founder & President Ken Hawthorn started the Model Car Program as a way of engaging his employer, Consulting Psychologists Press, in a community service project. After three years serving as the company’s Signature Accounts Manager and developing the Model Car Program program in his spare time, he successfully converted Student Racing Partners into a self sustaining organization. Ken sees this project as an opportunity to make a real difference in the community. He wants to actively engage all of our community’s young people in an experience that will challenge their minds and help grow them into positive, healthy adults. Ken@Student-Racing.com Robert Santos, CEO Robert Santos is CEO of Student Racing Partners, Inc. He earned a Bachelors Degree from San Jose State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Through his career, Mr. Santos has held positions in start-up, mid-sized, and Fortune 500 corporations most recently with Hewlett-Packard. The majority of his career involved sales and marketing positions including Regional Sales Manager, International Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and V.P. of Marketing. He has also held management positions in HP’s field training organization responsible for maintaining the professional and technical skills of HP Customer Service Engineers worldwide. Positions included Manager of Distance Learning, Computer Systems Integration Manager, and Operations Manager with a focus on process, procedures, development of information systems, and project management. While at HP, Mr. Santos also taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Phoenix including Business Ethics and Operations Management. Bob@Student-Racing.com Dick Osgood, Board Member Dick Osgood played an instrumental role in the establishment of Student Racing Partners. He has served as an advisor and active supporter of SRP even before it was incorporated. His contributions to SRP follow a 20 year career at Hewlett Packard as an Engineering Manager, and more recently, 16 years as a successful business owner. Dick holds four patents and an MSME from Stanford University. Having been retired for 6 years to date he currently splits his time between horology and automotive restoration projects. While it is true that SRP instructors have passed a lot of training in order to lead our classes, we are looking for the unique combination of academic and life experiences that allow an instructor to walk into a new classroom and quickly gain the students respect through genuine interactions in both the lecture and hands on segments of the course.
