Jocelyn Guansing, After School Program Coordinator-
Ravenswood City School District

Jocelyn Guansing is currently the After School Program Coordinator for the Ravenswood City School District in East Palo Alto, started her career in education nine years ago. Her passion for creating positive and enriching environments for youth has led her to develop and manage programs at Juvenile Hall, youth correctional facilities, and the Santa Clara County Children’s Shelter. In addition, she helped design and implement a teenage suicide prevention and early intervention program for the Santa Clara County Mental Health Department. This experience has led her to develop a comprehensive after school program serving Kindergarten through 8th grade students in East Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Jocelyn is completing her Masters in Counseling Psychology.

Ron Albertson, Juvenile Detective, Menlo Park Police Department
Ron Albertson has served youth in the Menlo Park Police Department for four years, both as a former School Resource Officer and as a Detective in the Juvenile Crime Division. In his current role, he investigates cases where adolescents are the victims and/or the offenders. Ron believes children are our future and his passion for youth has led him to establish partnerships involving the police department and numerous youth serving organizations. He has two chocolate Labradors and a wolf mix.

 

 

Rick Cavallaro, VP of Product Development at Sport Vision
Rick Cavallaro began his career in the aerospace industry 18 years ago, and holds a B.S. from Ga. Tech and an M.S from U.C.L.A. in that field. Over the years Rick has contributed in engineering and management roles in areas ranging from digital mapping products, to failure analysis, to computer graphics applications used in broadcast sports. He has over 25 years of experience designing, building, and flying model airplanes and helicopters. Rick has taught many people of all ages to fly radio controlled models over the years; and is now bringing that experience to bear at S.R.P.
