| SRP believes the best way to teach young people – to truly engage them – is to provide an environment that is supportive, challenging, and fun. Students in the program must get their hands dirty, make mistakes, and interact with each other openly about their successes and challenges in assembling the cars and racing them. They learn that failure is not final. With every problem, there is a solution. It is up to the students, as a team, to turn their challenges into successes. | Student Racing Partners, Inc., began with its founder’s dream of combining his passion for building model cars with making a difference in the lives of young people. Since its inception in 1999, the program has developed into an effective after school model with grassroots appeal and a conscious connection to schools and community. The program has a proven track record of providing multiple benefits to 7th and 8th graders, while building an important bridge that connects the middle school experience with high school. | |||||
